Nothing beats scratch-made cake for taste, freshness and superiority of ingredients. Cakes made with real butter, fresh eggs, and pure vanilla, promise sweetness and offer a timeless way to celebrate with friends and family. As a delicious, artistic expression of the client’s vision, our cakes bring loved ones together to reminisce in past memories, as they create new ones.
I’ve been exploring my creative side since birth, and have always been looking for new ways to express myself in artistic form. From drawing, to painting, to sculpture and design, I’ve spent years studying and trying to find the medium in which I was continuously inspired. Having always had a fascination with the emotions and memories evoked by cakes and other baked confections; I finally took a leap into a completely different form of artistry- baking. Building on a solid foundation in Culinary Skills and Chef Training, I graduated with honours from the Baking & Pastry Arts Program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, and further pursued the art of cake design in the Confectionary Arts Program at the Bonnie Gordon School in Toronto. Most recently I formalized my business credentials in the Small and Medium Enterprise Management Program also at Algonquin College.
I like to think I was born with a paintbrush in one hand, and an off-set spatula in the other. The Cake Whisperer marries my passion for the creative arts, with my new found love of baking and pastry. My custom creations span the globe of creativity and are only limited by imagination. Eyes widen and smiles engage the room- I thrive off the joy I can bring to others through my passion as a baker and cake designer.
I can now finally have my cake, and eat it too.
Our only limit is imagination.
